Grade 5 & 6 (Girls)
PTCS was organised on June 24th & 25th. During this session, parents interacted with teachers to understand their ward’s better and agree to work collaboratively. They come together and work towards the betterment of students and help her achieve her goals. It was also an opportunity to provide a clear picture of their ward’s progress.
Talents Day was held on June 26th. This day started with a tableau which was their new concept proceeding with a singing and dancing competition. It was a fun filled day which provided students a platform to showcase their inherent talent. It also helped them in understanding their abilities like leadership and learns values like cooperation, patience & discernment towards their fellow mates in the course of time. It helped them to maintain a healthy and sportive spirit in the guise of fun & frolic.
Thematic Assembly titled Environment Day was conducted on June 27th. The objective of this assembly was to help students portray their understanding about the environment & its need for sustainability, to involve them & become better citizens of nature, to let them grow in the spirit of love & respect towards all things natural & pure and to help them a better healthy life. A skit was also portrayed depicting the human carelessness towards mother nature and the plight of the natural living beings due to it. Song was rendered as a reminder of the need to protect our environment.
Grade 5 & 6 (Boys)
Periodic Test 1 was conducted from June 3rd till 12th. Through this test, students and teachers can monitor and improve the learning & teaching process.
Fun with 3D Shapes activity was organised on June 18th. This activity helped to improve spatial thinking, creativity and innovation in students.
Yoga International Day was celebrated on June 21st. On account of this day, students demonstrated various asanas and warmup activities. It helped to inculcate among them the values of self-discipline & self- control leading to improve their concentration and consciousness.
Grade 7 & 8 (Boys)
Environment Day and Talent’s Day planned on June 24th are postponed to September 19th due to Ramadan timings.
Grade 9 (Girls)
Arabic Calligraphy competition was conducted on June 19th. The purpose of this competition was to inculcate good handwriting practice among students. It was an opportunity for them to exhibit their writing skills in different forms of calligraphy.
Grade 9 & 10 (Girls)
A Thematic Assembly titled ‘International Yoga Day’ planned on June 20th was completed on June 21st due to conflict with other program in the Auditorium. During this assembly, students demonstrated various asanas and its importance were explained simultaneously. It also helped to encourage them to practice regular yoga to remain fit and improve concentration.
Talent Scan was originally scheduled on June 25th however due to the tentative date of another program it got postponed to another date. The next date will be fixed depending upon the availability of the auditorium.
Grade 9 & 10 (Boys)
International Day of Yoga (PE Department) was held on June 21st. This day created awareness among students about the health benefits of yoga. Exercises like Surya Namaskar and Nom Vilom were taught to them.
PTCS was organised on June 26th. This session aimed to maintain harmonious relationship between parents and teachers for betterment of the students. It was the first PTCS after Periodic Test 1.
Talents Day was held on June 27th. This activity catered to the students’ ability to show their versatility in dancing, singing and art. It also aimed to boost their confidence and self-determination. They showcased their talent as per their caliber and interest. Participants from each class exhibited their act be it song, dance and art display.
Grade 11 & 12 (Boys)
Talents Day was held on June 26th. Students showcased their talents in various segments such as group dance, wacky talents, video making and more. It was a fun filled event where eighty percent of the students participated.
Art Competition (DIY) was conducted on June 17th for grade 5 & 6 girls. During this competition, each class participated with great enthusiasm and put forward their talent by creating beautiful objects out of waste. It helped them learn the value of sustainability and the joy of creating goods of great value. It was also an opportunity for them to portray their latent creative ability, to be resourceful and to understand the concept of reusing resources.
Art Competition with the theme titled ‘Truly Rajasthan’ by Manipal Academy of Higher Education was held on June 22nd. It helped to enhance students’ skills and make them competitive for 21st century. Our students got two consolation prizes from Category 1. First place, second place and consolation prize from Category 2.
Result is still pending for International Art Competition organized by Chittagong Grammar School, Bangladesh on June 31st. Result will be announced soon.
Cambridge MUN, Dubai was held on June 23rd. Our students chaired the committees. We also received awards for Best Delegate & Most Promising Delegate in DISEC committee, SOCHUM committee and ECOSOC committee. It was an opportunity for them to develop and experience important social skills such as teamwork & group cooperation, conflict resolution, negotiation, consensus-building, critical thinking, public speaking and listening. Research, debate, negotiation and drafting resolution on global issues were included.
Round Square Orientation was conducted on June 25th & 26th for grades 5 to 8 respectively. This orientation created awareness among students about the Round Square Program and its importance.
DXBMUN Crisis Conclave was held on June 29th & 30th for grades 9 to 12 members. This International Conference was hosted by our school. The purpose was to provide an interactive educational experience that teaches in an interesting and enjoyable way about the United Nations. The process affords participants an understanding of how the process of international debate and negotiation that we commonly call diplomacy functions. In this interdependent world, Model UN made for informed global citizens who not only understand the decisions their nation makes but also how those changes effect politics nationally, regionally, and globally.
A Student Talk on the topic ‘Grade 11- A curtain Raiser’ was conducted on June 18th for grade 10. This talk was an eye opener for students to understand the criteria for stream selection for grade 11 and the various streams that the school offers.

Design Thinking Workshop by Manipal Academy of Higher Education for selected Counsellor and Two Teachers was held on June 21st. This workshop helped them to identify common problems across the fraternity of school counselors, arrive at possible solutions pertaining to the identified problems and test if the solutions can be met with in the most efficient manner. The design thinking model was a useful tool for all aspirational professional of the current generation.
