Grade 7 & 8
Exams (Term 2) will continue till this month.
Bridge Classes will be conducted from March 6th onwards. The objective of these classes for students is to facilitate the smooth academic progression from Grade 9 to Grade 10. It will help to give a head start and make them comfortable with grade 10 syllabus. Important topics from all the core subjects will be covered.
Open House will be held on March 22nd. It aims to discuss the performance of students in annual examination and their specific strengths & weaknesses in individual subjects and generalizing the level of inter-curricular skills & competencies. Annual report cards containing academic, disciplinary and extracurricular grades for the year will be distributed.
Grade 9 (Girls)
Annual Examination will conclude on March 4th.
Grade 10 (Boys)
CBSE Board Examination will be conducted from March 6th onwards. The purpose of this exam is to test students’ knowledge & competency and to determine student interests to make judgment about their future learning process. They will be tested on their entire syllabus.
Grade 12 (Boys)
CBSE Board Exams will commence on March 5th.
Bridge Classes will be conducted from March 11th.
Tour 1 (Hong Kong & New Zealand) for thirteen days will be organised from March 20th onwards. This tour will be an opportunity for grades 5 to 9 & 11 students to visit Auckland, Rotorua, Taupo, Wellington, Queenstown, Franz Josef, Christchurch. The main features are: - a day in Disneyland – Hong Kong, Stardome Observatory, Sky Tower, Kelly Tartons Sea Life Aquarium, Glowworm Caves, Agrodome Farm Show, Taupo Hukka Falls, National Aquarium of New Zealand, Milford Sound Scenic Cruise, Antarctic Centre, Whale watching and many more attractions.
Tour 2 (Switzerland & France) for five days will be organised from March 24th to 28th. The cities covered are: - Zurich, Lucerne, Engelberg and Paris. Our students from grades 5 to 9 & 11 will see FIFA football Museum, Glass of Bio Dams, Louvre museum, Eiffel Tower, visit Jungfrauh & Mt. Titlis, Paris city tour, a day in Disneyland Paris and many more.
Tour 3 (Thailand) for five days will be organised from March 24th till 28th. Our students from grades 5 to 9 & 11 will visit the cities of Pattaya and Bangkok. It will be an opportunity for them to see Sriracha Tiger zoo, Flight of the Gibbon Chonburi, Coral Island, Ice Kingdom, Stone Park & Crocodile Farm, Bangkok city tour, Muay Thai live show, Maritime swing, Safari world, floating market and many more.
Tour 4 (Dehradun Adventure Trip) for ten days will be held from March 22nd onwards. The places covered are: - Kanatal, Wildlife Safari at Chilla National park, Ganga bank, Rishikesh, Deradhun. Our students from grade 11 boys will experience trekking, river rafting, nature & heritage safari, community service, hiking, rock climbing and other adventurous activities.
Tour 4 (Manali Adventure Trip) for seven days will be held from March 23rd onwards. The places covered are: - Manali, Solang Valley, Jana Waterfall, Raison. This tour will be an opportunity for our students from grade 11 girls to experience trekking, river rafting, nature & heritage safari, hiking, rock climbing, campfire and other adventurous activities.
A Guidance Session with the University of Groningen (Netherlands) will be held on March 4th for grade 11 & 12 students and parents. The objective of this session is to provide opportunity to students & parents to meet university representative/s and get first- hand information about their programs offer, admission requirements & application process.
A Guidance Session with the University of Adelaide (Australia) will be held on March 8th for grade 11 & 12 students and parents. This session will provide opportunity to students & parents to meet university representative/s and get first- hand information about their programs offer, admission requirements & application process.
Scholarship Test of Amity University Dubai will be conducted on March 30th for grade 12 Science. The purpose of this test is to identify talented students and Amity University Dubai will reward them by offering merit based scholarship.
Enrichment Series workshop will be held on March 10th. It will be a workshop for School Counsellors that are managing autistic children in the classroom, sensitizing teachers to children of determination, understanding working memory and its constraints & anxiety – understanding early signs and managing it in adolescents.
CPD Program on E-Learning – “Destination Success” and “Use of Interactive White Boards” will be conducted during this month for teachers. This program will help teachers to understand all collaborative tools needed. It will also help to determine their level and effectiveness in using the interactive white boards.
